Forklift Operator
We are seeking a highly safety-conscious Forklift Operator. Must pass a background check, drug test, and fit test prior to employment.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain transfer and production operations per plant policies and procedures
Verify all loading and unloading of material
Assist Inventory Control with verification of counts and material
Route trucks to loading and unloading destinations within the yard
Complete loading/unloading documentation when required
Rack material per instructions and report any issues with material, racks, or trucks
Assist with processing inbound and outbound racks
Assemble customer orders and prepare product for shipping
Move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas
Transfer cement Super Sacks and pallets of bagged goods without damage
Follow all forklift safety regulations, including seatbelt use at all times
Perform General Labor duties when necessary
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse
Current Forklift Certification required
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
Ability to work a rotating day/night schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed
Ability and willingness to respond to call-outs when required
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly
Regularly required to talk and hear to communicate with employees/visitors
Primarily seated with periods of walking/standing; transports materials outdoors in all safe weather conditions; exposure to extreme heat or cold
Additional Qualifications
Language: English required; Spanish a plus
Must be clean-shaven daily for proper respirator fit
Why Apply
Pay: $18–$19/hour
Schedule: 10-hour rotating day/night shifts, weekends as needed
